The 36th International Symposium on Human Identification will be hosted at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. West Palm Beach offers a warm, inviting atmosphere in one of Florida’s most beautiful coastal cities. Conveniently located near major airports and transportation hubs, the convention center is a gateway to both professional growth and the unique charm of Florida. While your days will be filled with immersive workshops and insightful sessions, the vibrant surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for relaxing and reflecting on the new knowledge you’ll take back to your lab.
To ensure that our hotel block is reserved exclusively for registered attendees of ISHI 36, we are implementing a new process this year. Instead of posting the hotel reservation links publicly on our website, these links will be provided in your registration confirmation email upon completing your registration.
We understand that some attendees may face delays in receiving approval to attend early in the year. To help address this, we’ve designed a flexible cancellation and payment policy:

The Hilton West Palm Beach is attached to the Palm Beach Convention Center. Standard rate rooms will be available in early 2025 for a rate of $264 per night. A limited number of government rate rooms are also available.
A short 5-minute walk from the Palm Beach Convention Center. Standard rate rooms will be available in early 2025 for a rate of $249 per night. A limited block of government rate rooms are also available.
The Palm Beach International Airport is located ~3 miles away from the Hilton. A complimentary shuttle service is provided from 7am-7pm daily, leaving on the :15 and :45 from the hotel and :00 and :30 from the airport. Shuttle pick-up is located outside the baggage claim on the center median. Look for a sign stating “Hotel/Motel Courtesy Shuttle Pick Up/Drop Off.” The Marriott also provides a complimentary hotel shuttle on request with pick-up at the same location outside of baggage claim. The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is located 50 miles away, and the Miami International Airport is located 72 miles from the hotel. The Brightline Train runs between Palm Beach and these locations for ~$20 roundtrip.
Ride Share: Approved rideshare services (or ride-hailing or ride-booking service companies) meet customers on the outer curb of the third-floor Departure Level.
Circuit Cars: For an easy and economical way to book a ride between the Marriott and Convention Center, or to visit local restaurants, consider booking a Circuit Car. Book a ride through their Ride Circuit app. Transfers between the Marriott and Convention Center are no charge, but do require booking.
There is a lot to do in the Palm Beach, Florida area! Find restaurants, do some shopping, and more while you’re in town – you may just find a couple of reasons to extend your trip as well!
