Todd Cohen

Todd Cohen was born and raised in Florida, and found his passion for science attending his first science class in elementary school. He is currently one of the senior most Forensic Scientists in the Forensic Biology Unit of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Located in West Palm Beach, FL, Todd has been employed for 11 years conducting DNA analysis, Y-STR analysis and serology on criminal cases in Palm Beach County. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Florida Atlantic University in 2011 and his Associate of Science in Crime Scene Technology at Palm Beach State College in 2013.  His current responsibilities in the laboratory include conducting DNA analysis and Y-STR analysis on criminal cases, helping conduct validations on new technologies, attending Forensic Science Conferences, helping train new forensic scientists as well as testifying in court.
