Bachelor and licensed in Biology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (2004), Master in Genetics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (2008), and PhD in Biotechnology and Biodiversity from the Pró-Centro-Oeste Network / UFG (2017). Currently, he is the technical director of GRUPO VIDA BR (Biovida and DNA GYN Laboratories) and the technical manager of the Biocroma Laboratory, working in the execution of genetic analyses and the development of new tools applied to molecular genetic diagnostics and human identification, as well as in methodologies associated with the extraction and amplification of genomic DNA and RNA. To date, he has been responsible for the completion of approximately 200,000 tests for genetic relationship investigation and human identification, using various types of biological samples such as blood, bone, tooth, hair, nail, buccal swab, paraffin-embedded biological samples, among others. He is a collaborating researcher at the Replicon Research Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás and served as a full representative of CRBio/04 on the State Health Council. He has experience in the field of Genetics and Biotechnology, with an emphasis on Human and Animal Genetics and genetic diagnostics, working mainly in the following areas: human identification, genetic relationship investigation, and molecular genetic diagnostics.
