Jill Spriggs

Currently, Jill is a Senior Accreditation Manager for ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) overseeing the accreditation of laboratories throughout the United States and the globe. She has been in this capacity for over five years.

She holds over 35 years of professional experience in the area of forensic science, specializing in DNA analysis. Jill has worked as a Laboratory Director for the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office Laboratory of Forensic Services. She was also the Bureau Chief for the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services and oversaw the operations of 13 regional crime laboratories, as well as the DNA databank. During her time there, she was instrumental in starting the Familial Search Program, and the Cold Hit Outcome Project (CHOP).
