Reliving the Best Moments of ISHI 32

The 20th Anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks marks a moment in the history of the United States like no other. The attacks cast a shadow over American life and defined the new century and a war on terror. The aftermath of these attacks was not confined to weeks or months but continues today. Keynote Speakers, Mark Desire (NYC OCME) and Mary Fetchet (VOICES Center for Resilience) presented on the hardship and perseverance through the eyes of the team and families of the victims. This commitment to identify all of those who lost their lives has not wavered.

2021 saw continued interest in the power of genetic genealogy, and presentations included how to speed up the genealogy process, what FGG is revealing about CODIS, and busting FGG myths.

Other topics included Rapid DNA, emerging technologies in the field, massively parallel sequencing, and much more! Save the date for ISHI 33 in Washington DC (October 31 – November 3, 2022)
