Now Accepting Workshop Proposals for ISHI 34

The ISHI Planning Committee is now accepting workshop proposals for half day (3 hour) and full day workshops at ISHI 34 next year in Denver, Colorado.

Past workshops have focused on laboratory leadership skills, understanding probabilistic genotyping, testifying in court, implementation of next generation sequencing, use of forensic investigative genetic genealogy and more. All workshops will take place surrounding the General Session presentations on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday of the conference week. All workshop proposals will be reviewed by committee and selected based on perceived interest to the forensic community.

The most successful workshops will address:

  1. A topic that is timely and important for the intended audience
  2. Learning objectives that are clear and appropriate
  3. Format that is interactive

Workshops should present useful content without a commercial bias. Proposals are due no later than January 9, 2023 and can be submitted through our website.
