Save the Date for ISHI 32

An infant kidnapped from a Chicago hospital. A man who became an “unidentified living person” the instant a DNA test disproved his past. An internationally known investigative genetic genealogist who helped solve the mystery of their true identities.

This is the story genetic detective CeCe Moore, along with Paul Fronczak, abandoned as a toddler 55 years ago, will recounted in their keynote presentation at the 31st International Symposium on Human Identification (ISHI).

ISHI 31 looked a little different from past meetings with attendees logging on from home or their workplace, but the spirit of coming together as a community shone through. A record breaking 2,600+ attendees and exhibitors took part in the meeting this year from 53 different countries. We were excited to virtually welcome a number of first-time attendees and hope to meet you all in person at future ISHIs. For those who are debating registering, there is still time! All sessions are now available on demand and will remain that way through mid-October.

We would like to thank all our speakers and exhibitors for making this virtual pivot with us. There was much to learn, and we appreciate your flexibility and willingness to adapt more than you know. We hope that you all enjoyed the conference and encourage you to mark your calendars for ISHI 32, which will take place September 14-17, 2021 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
